  1. The significance level for factor loadings is taken as 2.58 (SE). SE represents standard error that is defined as 1/√N where N is the number of statements in the Q set. In this case then, 2.58 (SE) = 2.58 (1/√49) = 0.37. Significant loadings are shown in bold type.
